Payback time = cost ÷ income gained.

An upgrade that costs 1,000 and adds 100 per second pays back in 10 seconds. A pack that costs 5,000 and is expected to add 250 per second pays back in 20. In that example, the upgrade wins — but only because those were the numbers entered. Use your own.

Use the tool without stalling your farm

Step 1

Check the weakest slot

If one card earns far less than the rest, a pack has more room to improve the farm.

Step 2

Check the keeper

If your best long-term card is under-upgraded, a known upgrade may beat another random pull.

Step 3

Keep a buffer

Do not spend to zero. Leave enough Cash for the next useful action and avoid stopping the income loop.

Common mistakes

What makes the calculation lie

The formula is simple. Bad inputs are the real problem.

Using the full card income as the gain

If a new card replaces an existing earner, subtract the old card's income. Only the difference improves the farm.

Using a lucky best-case pull

One rare pull is not a sensible expectation for the next pack. Use a conservative recent result.

Ignoring mutation or trait resources

A temporary boost can change the visible income. Compare like with like before you spend.

Upgrading filler because it is cheap

A quick payback can still be a poor choice if the card leaves your farm one pack later.
